Your information, plainly explained
Privacy Policy
This page describes the information collected by the Life is Goldens website and how to ask for a newsletter signup to be removed.
What the newsletter signup collects
You can browse the public pages without creating an account. If you choose to subscribe, the form collects your email address and records that you gave consent, along with the signup record's timestamps in the site's private managed database. With your consent, the email address and subscription status are also sent to Resend for contact-list management. The newsletter form does not ask for your name, phone number, or photo.
Photo submissions and review
If you submit a photo, the site stores the image and any optional display name, dog name, and story that you provide in its managed database. Images are checked and re-encoded as WebP with embedded camera metadata removed. The form does not collect an email address or phone number.
Photo submissions are private, marked pending for review, and are not shown on public pages or published automatically. We will ask separately before considering a photo for public use. To request removal of a submission, use the Contact page; there is no self-service deletion form.
How signup information is used and stored
The email address and consent record are kept in the website's private managed database for possible future Life is Goldens updates. The consented email address is also stored by Resend in the Life Is Goldens Newsletter contact segment so it can be managed for future updates. Subscriber details are not shown on public pages. This integration only synchronizes contacts; the signup form does not send a confirmation, welcome email, newsletter, or campaign message.
We do not intentionally send the newsletter email field to the analytics services described below. Normal service, hosting, and delivery logs are separate and may process technical request information.
Retention and removal requests
A subscriber record is kept until you ask for it to be removed. There is no self-service removal page at present. Use the Contact page to reach us through Facebook; we will remove the address from both the website's private database and Resend's contact list.
Analytics, hosting, and fonts
The site’s hosting configuration enables Umami and Plausible analytics. The visible hosting-platform badge may also run analytics. These services can process information about visits and technical usage; other hosting or content-delivery logs may remain as well. Their collection and retention practices are controlled by the relevant service providers.
The site loads its Bree Serif and Nunito Sans typefaces through Google Fonts. A browser may send routine connection information when requesting those files. This website does not control the providers’ own data practices.
External links and updates
Links to Facebook and other external services take you to websites with their own privacy practices. Life is Goldens does not control those services. This policy may be updated if the site’s features or data practices change; the date below indicates the latest revision.
